The right side front door indicator says the door is open,however it is firmly closed this is causing a problem with my automatic running boards. Mostly running board will not come out and when you close the door, you can hear the motor run to pull back in as if it were out. treasa57, So, I took it to a Dealer in Maryland and they said that they ran a diagnostic that showed nothing wrong so they thought that the motor must have a short or some problem.
And I fixed my self with hammer and Wd 40.and don't know if this helps but when It was stuck down it still made clicking noise when I tried to open and close so motor wasn't burnt upe. Thoughts?
