The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation is donating more than $5 million to the Inner City Youth Development Association. Charities are able to fund their latest projects. Since its inception in 2001, the EOCF has contributed over $40 million to more than 2,900 charities, community groups and minor hockey programs throughout Northern Alberta. Heading into its sixth season, Hockey Helps Kids continues to connect local schools and the Edmonton Oilers to raise awareness and funds for a variety of charities across Oil Country in order to make positive change in the community.
